The MV Siem Carrier was originally built as North Sea type platform supply vessel and has been completed upgraded and rebuilt in 2007 at Orskov Yard in Denmark in line with a 3-year fixed plus 2x 1-year optional extension charter party between Siem Offshore Inc. and Five Oceans Services GmbH.

The upgrade and rebuilding of the MV Siem Carrier was focussed on the following work scopes of the vessel during the charter period:

• Submarine cable installation works
• ROV survey and intervention works
• Offshore construction support works
• Diving support works
